This drink is one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever let myself swallow.
The bad thing about it? I don’t have a recipe. Oops.
I do have this tho: 😉
Hehe. Does that help?
We use the ingredients in the first picture. Make sure your yogurt, if at all possible, is cultured and not pasteurized. Peanut Butter should be natural with only peanuts and salt listed as the ingredients. I use wild blueberries as I’ve found they are a bit sweeter and much smaller, so the seeds aren’t as numerous (and annoying). Once I used mixed berries, which were mainly blackberries and raspberries and I spent the whole time chewing mouthfuls of seeds rather than swallowing smoothie. Uck. (That was the last time I used them.) If you like chewing your smoothies, have at it. Consider it free advice on what to use. 😉
Also, we love our Ninja! It gets used almost every day compared to the 2-3 days a year our old (weakling) blender was good for. I have the food processor attachment and it whips up a batch of my Maple Shortbread Cookies in a flash. Or two shakes of a lamb’s tail. Whichever is quicker. 😉 I have 12 more days till I can make them tho, so no thinking about them now or I will be craving them all day and night. Ah, I feel it coming on already!
Think of something else. Think of something else!
Oh, we made it into Day 3! 🙂 Right now, I am down 1.2 pounds from Monday morning. We’ll see how that goes as water weight does fluctuate daily. Either way, I’m feeling good! No cravings too crazy to make me reconsider making it to the goal. 😉
The plan for today: smoothie – breakfast, bacon & tomato ‘pizzas’ – lunch, Spaghetti Squash Cheesy Bake w/roasted veggies – supper. I’ll share recipes soon! If anyone has a request for recipes sooner, message me or comment below! Remember:
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Rejoice in the Lord always, my friends! 🙂
