Day 5 grain-free and going weak

No! Strong! Day 5 and going strong!

Just had to throw that out there for all you doubters. *point* Ha! They can’t even make it 5 days! Wait…

Yeah, just you wait.

I’ve made chicken bone broth two days this week! Plus we haven’t suffered through one nasty tasting meal yet! Plus Ryan has complimented (several times in rows!) at least two of the new recipes! 🙂 Plus I’m down 2 pounds. So not too shabby. I have found myself losing track of time and scrambling to get supper together and on on time, but that is a constant housewife-ly struggle. Not solely related to being grain-free. 😉

Our smoothies have been the basis for breakfasts, only because I haven’t been awake enough to wake up in the morning to make my dear hubby bacon and eggs. He doesn’t mind tho. We’re both pretty obsessed with the smoothies. 😛 Lunches for him have been left-overs from the night before and mine have been either left overs or other creations – like these tomato oregano cheesy pizzas (Mmmmmm), or today’s chicken salad with homemade mayo, sweet onions, celery and salt (and, of course, chicken), and dill pickles on the side.

This has been an interesting first week. One more work week and two more weekends to go! 🙂

Anyone else consider taking this challenge or one similar? Remember, we want to do it for the health and sakes of our temples!

Also, girlfriends! Let’s remember this verse! 😉

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,

But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

Let’s be Proverbs 31 ladies for the Lord! 🙂
