So this whole grain-free thing?
Yeah, it’s not for us. We like my pizza too much.
That being said, I only mean it’s not for us 24/7/365. We’ve certainly learned, and are still learning, that even tho it’s a process and sometimes it’s (super) hard to find something to snack on, there are lots of delicious things that are grain-free! Awesome!
One of those awesome things was these:
That was delicious. Mm-hmm. And totally grain-free. Normally they’re stuffed with rice, but these had cauliflower ‘rice’ and weren’t affected (poorly) at all from the change. 🙂
Then we also had meatzas (hamburgers cooked in the oven, then topped with sauce, raw mozzarella, pepperoni and mushrooms), eggplant lasagna (we could have that everyday of the week), cheesy spaghetti squash bake, Greek salads, and today we’re having sausage and sour kraut with baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. 🙂
So: grain-free isn’t half bad.
And add something else to the plus side – I’ve lost 4 pounds so far. I might be adding days onto our two weeks. 😛
Don’t tell Hubby. I think he’s hanging on to that last day so we can have pizza again. 😉 And actually that does sound soooooo good…
What is your favorite grain-free meal?? What is your favorite grain-full meal? 😛
